About Us
We have have always owned animals both seperatly and as a couple, and bought our first dog together 8 years ago, He is a Bedlington terrier and his name is Austin (hence the first part of our kennel name!). Cheryl did some obedience with him and he was also the inspiration behind cheryls change of career to dog grooming.
We decided 5 years ago that we wanted another dog, and that we may like to have a go at showing her at dog shows (Cheryl had heard that there where normally shopping stands at shows!!).
We wanted a dog that would fit in with us and our love of the outdoors, and one that was low shedding as Bryn is allergic to most breeds.
After alot of research into different breeds, we where greeted by some waggy shaven canine backsides at a show one day!
After another year of research into the breed and meeting lots of people we approched Jayne Johns (Gemsons), and about 5 months later we bought Phoebe home with us!
That was it, we where hooked.............
